Student will complete a total of 69 credit hours
in subject such as nursing, biology, chemistry, nutrition and social
studies. Of the total credit hours, 51 credit hours will be completed
in Nepal and the remaining credit hours will be completed at EKU,
USA. Courses in the following subjects and credit hours will be
provided to students. The total length of the course will be 2 years
(4 semesters). Three semesters of the program will take place in
Kathmandu, Nepal and the fourth semester in Eastern Kentucky University,
Richmond, Kentucky, USA.
Students
admitted in this program must attend all theory and practical classes.
In addition, students must maintain an average of 77% score to pass
the course. Prospective students are also required to take TOEFL
examination and obtain a score of 525 or over as per the EKU requirement.
All students admitted in the program are required to stay in the
hostel.
Student
declared unsuccessful at the end of third semester examination will
be allowed a maximum of three more attempts.

Besides
the prescribed courses, SION offers additional courses which are
most urgent to be completed in advance. Those are computer science,
English and health in Nepal. Which help the students utilize their
inner capacity and enhance their studies at EKU, USA.
